Overview

DiskLite is a local disk-analysis utility for macOS. It runs entirely on your device inside the Apple sandbox. We — the developer of DiskLite — do not operate any server that receives your information, and the app is designed to work without an account, a login, or an internet connection.

Information We Collect

None. DiskLite does not collect any personal information. Specifically:

No account creation, sign-in, or user profile is required.
No analytics, tracking, advertising, or usage-telemetry SDKs are included.
No file contents, file names, paths, or scan results ever leave your device.
No cookies, device identifiers, location, or contact data are gathered.

How the App Works

When you point DiskLite at a folder or disk, it reads file and folder sizes locally to produce the on-screen visualizations and reports. This information is processed in memory and stored only on your own Mac. It is never uploaded anywhere.

If you use the cleanup or uninstall features, DiskLite only moves the items you select to the macOS Trash on your own Mac, after your explicit confirmation. Nothing is deleted outright, and nothing is ever sent off your device.

Network Access

DiskLite does not require internet access to function and does not send your data over the network.

Data Sharing & Third Parties

Because we collect nothing, there is nothing to sell, rent, or share. DiskLite does not integrate any third-party data-collection services.

Data Retention & Deletion

Any data DiskLite creates (such as cached scan results or settings) is stored locally on your device and is removed when you delete that data within the app or uninstall DiskLite.

Children's Privacy

DiskLite does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.

App 如何工作

当你选择某个文件夹或磁盘时，DiskLite 在本地读取文件与文件夹大小，用于生成界面上的可视化图表和报告。这些信息仅在本机内存中处理并保存于你自己的 Mac，绝不会上传到任何地方。

若你使用清理或卸载功能，DiskLite 只会在你明确确认后，把你选中的条目移入本机的 macOS 废纸篓——绝不直接删除，也绝不会把任何内容发送到设备之外。

网络访问

DiskLite 无需联网即可正常工作，也不会通过网络发送你的数据。

数据共享与第三方

由于我们不收集任何信息，也就不存在出售、出租或共享；DiskLite 不集成任何第三方数据收集服务。

数据保留与删除

DiskLite 产生的任何数据（如扫描缓存或设置）都存储在你设备本地，当你在 App 内删除相应数据或卸载 DiskLite 时即被移除。

儿童隐私

DiskLite 不会在知情情况下收集任何人（包括儿童）的信息。

政策变更

若本政策发生变更，更新后的版本将发布在本网址，并标注新的生效日期。
